Participating in Survey+ projects is easy and convenient. All you need is a computer or mobile device and an internet connection. Super-flexible.

At Survey+, we take your privacy very seriously. Your personal information is kept confidential and all projects are conducted anonymously. We do ask you to give a name, but you don't have to give you a real name. This means that you can feel comfortable sharing your honest opinions without fear of judgment or repercussions.

Pre-Qualification Survey

To participate in Survey+ projects, start by completing our short pre-qualification survey. This survey will help us determine if you're the right fit for the study. It's important to note that for each new study we run, we generate a new pre-qualification survey. This means that even if some of your details are in our system from submitting for a previous study, you will be asked to complete a new survey each time. Each study has very specific eligibility criteria, so we need to ensure that all participants are a good fit for the study at hand.

Study Invitation

If you meet the criteria for the study, you'll receive an invitation via both SMS text message and email. This invitation will include all the details about the study, including the topic, compensation, and duration. Be sure to read the invitation carefully and confirm your participation as soon as possible.

Reminders

In the days leading up to the study, we'll send you reminders to ensure you don't forget your commitment. These reminders will include important details about the study, such as the start date and time, as well as any specific instructions or tasks you'll need to complete.

Take part over 1-3 days

Once the study begins, it's time to participate! Our studies are conducted in bulletin board (BB) format, allowing you to share your thoughts and opinions in a text format, a bit like social media. Most studies are 1:1 chats with one of our research team - occasionally you will interact with other participants in a group discussion. You'll be asked to complete a series of tasks over a period of 1-3 days, including answering text questions, possibly finding an image that sums up how you feel about a topic and so on.

Take part "on your schedule" during the study days

At Survey+, we understand that life can be busy and unpredictable, so we've designed our studies to be flexible and easy to participate in on your own schedule. We'll luanch new questions in the morning on any study day and will be expecting your answers in the hours that follow. You can take part at your convenience, so long as you commit to spending the target number of minutes per day, leaving some mins to answers follow-up questions from our researchers, which you'll get inbox alerts for. If you intend to start the day's questions later in the afternoon or evening, please let us know so we know you're still participating. Our goal is to ensure that you can comfortably participate in our studies without undue stress or burden, and our flexible approach to scheduling helps achieve this goal.

At Survey+, we're committed to gaining a deep understanding of your point of view, which is why we often ask open-ended questions that require longer answers. We believe that in order to truly capture the richness and complexity of your opinions and experiences, we need to allow you the space to express yourself fully. That being said, we understand that writing longer responses can be challenging and time-consuming. However, we ask that you do your best to provide detailed answers to our questions. If your answers are too short, we'll flag this with you as a potential issue, and you may need to redo your answers. So, it's better to let it all out the first time and give us as much detail as possible!

At the end - your reward

At Survey+, we believe in compensating our participants fairly for their time and feedback. The amount of compensation varies depending on the study, but we always up front about the $s and make sure it's worth your while. You'll receive your compensation via an amazon.ca e-gift card within 3 business days of completing the entire study, incl. any follow-up questions you're posed. Relax, it comes direct to your inbox with no action needed (although they do occasionally end up in the promotional inbox, so for some reason yours isn't obvious do you check there.
